APPLICABILITY
This scheme shall apply to all Cooperative Societies coming under the administrative Control of Registrar of Cooperative Societies which accept deposits as per the terms and conditions fixed in the bye-laws or as per the directions and guidelines issued by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies from time to time, which is not defunct or dormant or under liquidation and it does not include Societies/Banks which is covered under Deposit Insurance and credit Guarantee Corporation Scheme of “Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation of India.
